Fact of the Day: 22/12/2022
Everyone always tells you to drink your water, but how much water should you really be drinking? According to Science News, “researchers have found that the turnover of water in a person’s body varies widely depending on the individual’s physical and environmental factors” (par. 3). They found that you should drink roughly 64 ounces a day on average (par. 4), but the real amount you need can depend on where you live and how athletic you are. You lose about 10 percent of your body’s water a day (par. 10), and for people who have less access to water, this can be a bigger problem. Do you think you should be drinking more water in a day than you currently do?
