Fact of the Day: 08/10/2020
Black holes have been a mystery for so long. We know that black holes have a gravitational pull so strong that anything even close to being near them will get sucked into them and that nothing, including light, can escape their gravitational pull. However, have you ever wondered what would happen if a star got sucked into a black hole? If a star got sucked into a black hole, contrary to popular belief, it wouldn’t just disappear like many other things. In fact, some of its elements and particles would get sucked in leaving a jet stream of plasma shooting out from the black hole at high speeds for many miles, streaking space with its colorful light.
