Did you know that glass is not actually solid? Glass flows like a liquid but at such as slow rate that it can hardly be seen, so it can’t necessarily be classified as a liquid. So, then, if glass is neither a liquid, solid, or gas, what is it? Chemists classify it as an amorphous solid, or matter that is somewhere in between the liquid and solid states of matter.
