Fact of the Day: 31/03/2021
Did you know that the Apollo astronauts footprints will likely remain on the moon for another 100 million years? Since the moon has practically no atmosphere, it results in an absence of weather (water, wind, etc.) and thus no substance that could wash, blow, or otherwise weather away the footprints of the first astronauts to land on the moon. Humanity may leave its mark on the moon for another 100 million years until tiny micrometeorites finish chipping away at its surface, erasing our existence on it.
