Fact of the Day: 11/11/2021

We read books on a daily basis, whether online, in class, or for fun. We not only use them as a source of information, but also for entertainment. Books have been around for a long time, but do you know what the first book ever written was? According to Booktrust.org, “The first book ever written that we know of is The Epic of Gilgamesh: a mythical retelling of an important political figure from history” (Burnell par. 13). It is so cool to know where things originate from—it gives a deeper appreciation for them, wouldn’t you agree?
