We have touch screens in our cell phones, iPads, and sometimes computers. We use touch screens every day, and probably would not be able to imagine a world without them. Who created this useful and convenient technology?  Elographics is the company responsible for the modern-day touch screen. In 1974, Sam Hurst and Elographics worked together to create the first transparent touch screen, and the rest is history. Think about how different life would be if Elographics hadn’t innovated and created the touch screen. If you’re curious about such a world, the next time you’re with your parents or grandparents, ask them what life was like without touch screens. The answer might give you more insight into how technology revolutionizes the world.
