Fact of the Day: 25/01/2022

Today is not a special day because today is not the Opposite Day. Just joking! Today is the Opposite Day. What is Opposite Day?

On this day, people “mean the opposite of whatever they say” (“Opposite Day” par. 1). Here are some traditions you can follow:

  • “Declare that it is indeed Opposite Day” (par. 16).
  • Give a compliment and then tell the recipient it’s Opposite Day, which makes for quite the humorous situation (par. 17).
  • Give an insult and then tell the recipient it’s Opposite Day, which nullifies the insult (par. 18).

How are you not planning to celebrate your Opposite Day?
