On this day, people “mean the opposite of whatever they say” (“Opposite Day” par. 1). Here are some traditions you can follow:
- “Declare that it is indeed Opposite Day” (par. 16).
- Give a compliment and then tell the recipient it’s Opposite Day, which makes for quite the humorous situation (par. 17).
- Give an insult and then tell the recipient it’s Opposite Day, which nullifies the insult (par. 18).
