Computers are useful in many ways. We use them in our everyday lives, both for work and for fun. Do you know what truly makes your computer run? It is the motherboard! According to HP.com, “The official motherboard definition is that it’s the main printed circuit board within a computer, which means it’s the primary piece of circuitry that all of the other pieces plug into to create a cohesive whole” (Knerl par. 2). In other words, the motherboard integrates with other pieces of the computer to make the computer work. As such, it is essential to the function of any computer.
