Fact of the Day: 21/02/2022

Have you ever heard of the Mount Rushmore National Memorial? Even if you haven’t, you probably know what it is—it’s the monument that consists of the faces of four U.S. Presidents carved into the side of a mountain! Mount Rushmore celebrates George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt, and Abraham Lincoln, and is located in South Dakota (“Mount Rushmore National Memorial” par. 1). Today is the perfect day to celebrate the presidents of the U.S. and take a tour (even a virtual one, on Google Maps for example) of the monument because today is Presidents’ Day! Will you celebrate today with some fun or some adventure?
