Fact of the Day: 25/02/2022

Art can express an artist’s feelings in many different ways. Some artists paint freely without technical guidance or measurement; others draw with precision. Line art is an example of an art form that relies on precision. By using a composition of lines, an artist can create a drawing that looks detailed and exact. The lines in the art can be used “to define shapes and figures, but also to indicate motion, emotion, and other elements” (“Line as an art element” par. 1). Have you used line art before?
