Weather forecasts show weather predictions for a day, two days, and perhaps even a whole week. What tools do the meteorologists (specialized scientists who predict weather) use to make those predictions? According to NOAA, a few tool used are: 

1. Doppler radar (“6 tools our meteorologists use” par.2).
2. Data from satellites (par. 4).
3. Radiosondes (par. 6). 
4. Automated surface-observing systems (par. 8).
5. Supercomputers (par. 10). 
6. “AWIPS (NOAA’s Advanced Weather Information Processing System)” (par.13).
