In 2 weeks and 3 days, it will be Easter. On Easter, many people go egg hunting. What is the meaning behind the Easter egg? According to History.com, “The egg, an ancient symbol of new life, has been associated with pagan festivals celebrating spring. From a Christian perspective, Easter eggs are said to represent Jesus’ emergence from the tomb and resurrection” (“Easter Symbols and Traditions” par. 5).  Did you know there was so much meaning behind the Easter egg?
