Photography is a type of art. The photographer uses a camera to capture the natural beauty around him or her, whether on the earth or in the sky. Who is the father of photography? Acting College.org credits French inventor Nicéphore Niépce (“Who is known as the father of photography?” par. 1) with the invention of photography. According to Britannica, Niépce was the “first to make a permanent photographic image”, in the late 1820s (“Nicephore Niepce” par. 1-4).
