When you enter a mall, you may notice a shop with cool colorful patches that are said to be iron-ons. Are you curious to find out what an iron-on is? According to Business Insider (via Amazon), “Iron-on patches have a layer of plastic backing with a thin layer of heat-activated glue rubbed on them. Iron-on patches are the best choice when you don’t want to have to sew your patches onto a garment” (Business Insider par. 1).  In other words, an iron-on patch will stick to any piece of clothing after you iron it on. Isn’t that so cool?
