Fact of the Day: 04/02/2022

Many people suffer from cancer, a serious disease. The Union for International Cancer Control designated the 4th of February World Cancer Day to help these people (“World Cancer Day” par. 1). We can help and honor those suffering from the “big ‘C’” by:

• Joining supportive communities on social media (par. 15).
•  “. . . commit[ing] to taking positive action, whether it is donating time or money . . . or making a healthier choice at mealtime today” (par. 16) 
• Connecting with anyone you know who is suffering from it (par. 17).
