Have you ever wondered what inspired Vincent van Gogh’s famous painting The Starry Night? It turns out that the painting was created when Van Gogh was subjected to psychiatric treatment at the Saint-Paul-de-Mausole. The landscape in the painting is based off of the town the psychiatric hospital is in, Rémy-de-Provence, France.
