“Hollywood” is a term used for the movie industry in the United States. Did you know there is also something called Bollywood? “Bollywood” refers to the movie industry in India; it is actually derived from the word “Hollywood,” but the “h” is replaced with a “b” for “Bombay” (“Bollywood” par. 2). Bollywood movies are also usually done in Hindi (par. 2). Do you think there are other movie industry words that derive from Hollywood?
