Where do we get oxygen from? Certainly a lot of oxygen comes from trees, flowers, and other land inhabiting plants, but did you know that 70% – 80% of our oxygen actually comes from the ocean? Although it may seem odd that something that can kill you due to lack of oxygen would produce majority of the oxygen we breath, it is true. Aquatic plants that live beneath the oceans produce more oxygen than the plants above water.
