Fact of the Day: 12/05/2022
When it is very humid and hot outside, we probably like to turn on the air conditioning inside our house. Have you ever wondered who invented the AC? The answer is Willis Carrier (“Willis Carrier” par. 1). According to Carrier.com, “On July 17, 1902, Willis Haviland Carrier designed the first modern air-conditioning system, launching an industry that would fundamentally improve the way we live, work and play” (par. 1). Now we have Carrier to thank when we use an air conditioner.
