We have probably all seen rubber duckies. Whether you find them in stores or in vending machines, they are an adored toy. Who invented the rubber ducky? According to nationaldaycalendar.com, “While the origin of the first rubber ducky is uncertain . . . In 1928, Landon Smart Lawrence received the earliest patent for a rubber duck toy ” (par. 2-3).
