Fact of the Day: 21/04/2022

What is now known as “America” used to be called the “New World.” Who was the first to permanently settle the New World? According to America’s Library, “The Spanish were among the first Europeans to explore the New World and the first to settle in what is now the United States” (“Colonial America (1492-1763)” par. 1).
