What does it sound like in space? Well… nothing! Space is completely silent. Even if you were to scream or play the trumpet up there, no one would hear. This is because space is a vacuum. Unlike here on Earth, there is no air or other medium for sound waves to move through – they just get “gobbled” up by the vacuum.
