Fact of the Day: 27/01/2022
Today is the International Holcaust Remembrance Day. On this day, 77 years ago, Soviets freed “the survivors of the last death camp at Auschwitz-Birkenau” (“International Holocaust Remembrance Day” par. 9). The UN designated January 27 as International Holocaust Remembrance Day on November 1, 2005 (par. 11). We remember the atrocities of the Nazis and make sure they never happen again.
