Have you ever seen Pop Art before? Most of the paintings seem to pop out of the paper. When was Pop Art introduced? According to ThoughtCo, “Pop Art was born in Britain in the mid-1950s . . . [and] . . . the term Pop Art . . . [was coined] during discussions among artists who called themselves the Independent Group (IG), which was part of the Institute of Contemporary Art in London” (Gersh-Nesic par. 1). Many comics, like Wonder Woman comics, use Pop Art to make the images come to life. Have you used Pop Art before?
