Fact of the Day: 27/04/2022
There are many types of plants. Some are indoor plants, while others are outdoor plants. What characteristics define indoor plants? According to Britannica, an indoor plant is “any plant adapted for growing indoors” (“houseplant” par. 1). Since the ‘indoor’ conditions are usually warm and dry, indoor plants are derived from plants that are naturally adapted to these growing conditions—in other words, tropical and subtropical plants (par. 1). Popular houseplants also require relatively low maintenance (par. 2). Do you have indoor plants and are they easy to maintain?
